The 2nd Annual Happiness Lectures Online
The 2015 Annual Happiness Lectures Online is on Thurs 26th March at 1930 (GMT) and previews the Happiness Training Programme Online, which starts on Weds 8th April.
Love is a peak experience and our supreme positive emotion, while having a purpose lends a depth to the quality of our lives – a deep sense of meaning and well-being. When the two come together you have the ingredients for a rich and satisfying life which is more than the sum of its parts. It is a happiness with bandwidth. Love and Purpose come together as passion. The engagement of the heart is like the wind in your sails. Love gives you something to act for.
The Happiness Lectures Online is a free event on Thursday March 26th from 730-830 pm UK time (1130 US PT, 230pm US ET, 830pm Europe CET). Tickets available via Eventbrite. The speakers are Miriam Akhtar MAPP & Dr Chris Johnstone.
Between 2006 and 2010 the Bristol Happiness Lectures established a reputation for being inspiring events with leading speakers on the science of wellbeing. Developed by Dr Chris Johnstone with the University of Bristol, contributors included Oliver James (2008), Ilona Boniwell (2007), Raj Persaud (2006), Phil Hammond (2010) and Miriam Akhtar (2010).
In 2014 the Bristol Happiness Lectures metamorphosed into the Happiness Lectures Online. The subject of the first event was Sustainable Happiness – how to plant, cultivate and grow happiness with staying power. The special guest was Mark Williamson, director of Action for Happiness. Here’s the link to replay the webinar.
This will act as a taster for the Happiness Training Programme Online, an 8-week online group coaching course.
